Bangkok and Ayutthaya

the Temple City Of Ayutthaya is an impressive place less than1 hour from Bangkok It has temples in  abundance and the spectacular  Bang Pa In Palace 40mins drive away

I only had time to visit the core area of the Ancient city of Ayutthaya, thankfully the light was pretty spectacular early in the morning, I used a polarizer on my 17-55 Nikon and the coloration of Fuji cameras really capture the intensity of the colours as this time of year!

Ban Pa In is the Summer Palace of the King

Modeled on European and Chinese style it is a colourful mix of style and a place worth spending time in,

I went here on an organized coach tour and only had 50 mins to look at the 67 acre site. it was a rush; but the use of a polarizer gave some good colour from the overhead light.

the sky was wonderful that day!

All the pictures were taken on a whistle-stop bus tour from Bangkok. When one has little time but good light as I did earlier in  the day; I was able top get better shots than I should have done given the time constraints,
