NEPAL TREK IN LANGTANG AND ANNAPURNAS
In March 2023 I had a month in Nepal Trekking.
My first 'Warm Up' trek involves 2000 meters of ascent to the Langtang Valley. This was a tough 2 days ending in blizzard conditions at well over 3000 metres. The following morning the snow ceased to reveal a spectacular mountain landscape; a dream Winter Wonderland.
My second trek was to Khopra, a new area which my Guide a friend Kumar Shrestha had never been to. This high trek was visually stunning. Snowstorms were a hazard so we were only able to go to 3600metres! However Khopra under snow gave us a WOW factor! The sub zero temperature at night and snow on the return was memorable!
