Kampot and the last resort!

After Bokor Lynda left for Vietnam. I stayed at the cute Kampot Oasis run by affable Garry and assisted by Raoul Glass a young French guy who has an Africa Twin motorbike several years older than him. I did have a touch of motorbike envy of his classic adventure bike.
I took a Drive out to Bokor National Park. I followed signs to the Ko Da Ta Waterfalls Resort; passing a huge Chinese run power station on the way. The resort is in an attractive forested valley with a rough steep, stony track leading to it. At first I was unimpressed just seeing a large pool with concrete overflow leading to it. Full of bathers taking to the cool water It wasn't a bad place to be; but I could not see any natural waterfalls.
New steps alongside a road under construction led to the main falls which are quite nice now but could be impressive in the rainy season. I happened to meet a young Khmer guy with impressive tattoos which have almost inspired me to put a large winged owl on my chest?

I've been living in Cambodia since 2003 and have images of this wonderful country. its a photographic paradise with spectacular sites and lovely people.
The Angkor Temples are amazing; but its the people & rural life which have been an endless fascination for me as a photographer
